If I were a religious person, my religion would be gratitude. Without it blessings and hope goes out the window. Here are the 49 things I am grateful for on my 49th birthday.

Courage takes away the power from my insecurities.

Love is the fuel for my joy.

Discipline feeds progress.

Ownership is the fuel for my excellence.
6. Excellence
Excellence is my heart and soul’s workout.

Support is a kind reminder I am worthy.
8. Vulnerability
Vulnerability increases my authenticity.
9. Legacy
Legacy gives me hope that I can break cycles and make things better for generations to come.
10. Humility
Humility crowds out any room for arrogance in my life.

Family are relatives with a meaningful relationship.

Dogs are God’s way of showing me what it is like to love unconditionally.

My friends are people with a dog in my fight.

I have realized the joy of having a cousin is having an almost sister and I have many opportunities to have more almost siblings.

As an aunt, I can be a pseudo-mother without the pressure.

My uncle was the example that this fatherless girl needed to pick a great husband.

My husband was God way of apologizing for a suckie childhood.

My sons not only represent a healthy relationship with my boys, they also extends their father’s protection of my daughter and me.

My daughter has been the challenge I needed to grow beyond what I thought I needed so that I could continue to be a kick-ass parent to all of my children.

Choices are gifts and curses as a result of redemption. They have resulted with tons of gifts and hundreds of curses.
