Morning Gratitude: Today is Good Day for a Fresh Start
I am thankful that today is a good day for a fresh start — the truth is, every day is a great day for a fresh start. This realization allows me to:
- Focus on the positive
- Improve a little each day
- I make better in-the-moment decisions
Daily Fresh Starts = Glass Half Full
You are either born a glass-half-full or a glass-half-empty person. The great thing about daily fresh starts is that you start your day with your glass half-full every day even if you are a negative Nancy. It allows you to build from the yesterdays good. When you beat yourself up, you set yourself up for failure. So give your arms a big stretch and be grateful that today is a perfect day for a fresh start!
Daily Fresh Starts = Progressive Improvement
You will improve with a “fresh start” mentality — even when you can’t see it right away. Daily fresh starts allow you to do a little better each day. It is forgiving for the days you think was a bust but also applies the right amount of pressure to make sure you don’t have many “bust” days.
Daily Fresh Starts = Present Mindedness
You will find you are much more present when you reboot each morning. You are aware of how you spend your time. Your awareness increases your decision-making quality.
I have so many things to be thankful for and fresh starts are one of them. It helps me to forgive myself and hold myself accountable all at the same time.
Make today a perfect day for your fresh start!
