Morning Gratitude: The Reasons I Love Marley
We were not supposed to get Marley. We met a family through their daughter’s friendship with my daughter. The family’s pits had a litter and they needed to find them good homes. Knowing how hard it was to find good homes for pit bulls, my husband and I agreed to take one. Over the first few weeks of the pups lives, I helped bathe them and I tried to give the friend respite where I could.
My husband, Rob fell in love with Marley. He finally asked if we could take them both home. Marley is sweet, laid back, and very stubborn. He has a quiet way of doing his naughty deeds. He is so quiet that Shiloh gets profiled as the naughtiest one because he is a more hyper than his brother Marley.
I love Marley so much:
- I love his smell.
- I love his kisses.
- I love the way he puts his paw on my shoulder.
- I love that face!
Here is a visual of my Marley and why he makes my world ok.
