3 Reasons I am Thankful That I Know Why Life Is Complicated.
Life is complicated. I see some friends try to figure it out with one Facebook post or try to blame their struggle on one thing. Understanding some of life’s complication has been my saving grace. Knowing that I don’t have to figure it all out to live it is a blessing.
1. Life is Complicated Because There are Battles You Fight Where the Rewards Are for Those in the Next Generation.
Spiritual and social issues require grit, selfless-purpose, and patience. You need the grit so that you can withstand the fight. Selfless purpose means you are fighting for the greater good. Lastly, you need the patience to know that your fight will benefit the next generation. I am thankful I understand the things I stand for now will be respected in the future.
2. Life is Complicated Because With Every Kick it Gives us in the Ass, We are Guaranteed at Least One Opportunity.
Life never apologizes and it does not give out easy passes. Neither social injustice, child abuse, a bad marriage, natural disaster, nor a tragic event entitles you to an easier life. The only reparation you get from life is the priceless opportunities that come with each zinger. I am thankful I am able to realize opportunities the opportunities that come with every struggle.
3. Life is Complicated Because Good and the Bad Get the Same Rules.
Life events are indiscriminate but the rules are consistent. It does not care whether you are born with privilege or problems. The bad and good play by the same rules. Success on Earth does not guarantee you a place in heaven. I thank God I know I can succeed on Earth without compromising my place in the after-world.
If life was easy then it would be heaven. Life is too complicated to solve with one Facebook post. I am grateful I understand life is complicated because it allows me to focus on living instead of trying to figure it out.
