You know what I am thankful for? Green smoothies! They are easy to make, delicious AND nutritious.
Green Smoothies are Easy to Make
I love my morning green smoothies. All you have to do is mix the ingredients in the NutriBullet® and in less than a minute, you have your smoothie! When I have time, I cut up the ingredients and put them in Ziploc bags. I put them in the freezer and all I have to do is take it out, put it in the NutriBullet®, add almond milk and whala!
Green Smoothies are Delicious
I am a finicky girl with a conservative palette. Taste is important. Who would think a green smoothie would taste delicious —it does. Kale, Spinach, carrots, pineapple, berries, apples and almond milk — yummy! The frost from the frozen fruits and veggies gives it a slushy chill. Not to mention the almond milk makes it smooth and creamy. I look forward to my morning smoothies — it’s like having dessert in the morning!
Green Smoothies are Nutritious
Green smoothies are not only delicious, they are nutritious. They are made with foods that are anti-inflammatory, filled with antioxidants and countless more nutrition. It’s also very good for my sensitive belly and it gives me energy!
As I get older, I realize eating healthy is extremely important. I want to enjoy life, live out my purpose and be in the best health possible while doing so. Green smoothies are awesome. If you like sweet, then add a little extra fruit. If you are not into sweets, then cut the amount of fruit you put in it. Either way, nutrition has never been so easy and so delicious.
