Gratitude Monday: I am thankful for the fruits from my labor

I missed Gratitude Monday last week and came close to missing it this week. While I am grateful everyday, there are times that my service and blessings take up the day. Just know that whether I get to post or not, I have enough blessings in one week to last a lifetime.
I am so grateful on this Labor Day Holiday for the fruits I have harvested from my Labor. This year in particular, my motto of do my part and God’s got the rest has served as a reminder that God will always do the heavy lifting.
As my husband and I sat with one of our clients today, I reflected on my efforts in the past to try to do it ALL. I have come to know that I will never have enough time to do everything on my list. I have also come to know that I can’t do it all. Moreover, I have learned that I don’t have to do it all.
So as I sat with my clients and realized that we would not fulfill some of our objectives, I smiled. Our meeting was very productive and fulfilling. The fact that I had more to do did not send me into an anxiety attack — not even on a holiday Monday.

Foot soldiers, please remember that gratitude improves attitude and increases your blessings. Furthermore, remember that you’ve got to put your work in. I hope you have a happy rest of this Labor Day extended weekend. GM Everyone!
